My Monday was not that nice I had some mistake in orienting an applicant. This week one of our CI is celebrating her birthday and she treats us at Mang Inasal. We watched the game again at trinity University College because it’s the volley ball championship DON vs. SSD the DON is the Champion. I did type all the resumes to minimize the paper documentation and become “paperless”. Monitor the payment of the PGNT. Receive PGNT diary. And we went at CHBC Building to arrange the paintings that they will use at a big event.

9th WEEK (FEBRUARY 11-15, 2013)

Rounding of letters to all nurse stations and find the manager to receive the letter that I’m routing. Orient the people who submitted their application for PGNT. Arrange Receipt glue and paste at clean short bond paper and type in Kingsoft Excel. Receive the diary of the PGNT Batch 12-04. We get new time card at HR-TDED and Watch the game of basketball of our CI at the trinity university college.

3rd WEEK (DECEMBER 17-21, 2012)

I am the one who is in-charge of my supervisor to handle the payment of the next batch of PGNT 2013 (Post Graduate Nurse Training). If they already paid at the cashier, they will give to me the photocopy of their receipt and the next is orienting them. I oriented them the location of the college of medicine building. It is the Bundy clock for their time card. The time and some rules like dress code, which is formal attire, hair coloring and nail polishes, no earphones, no chewing of bubble gum, and always greet the managers whenever they enter the office.

2nd WEEK (DECEMBER 10-14, 2012)

This is the time we will meet all the managers at DCA department, by the way the DCA department is the one who in charge of all the nurse trainees before they get hired.
Our supervisor introduced all the managers to us and the VP of the department. All the managers and VP gave us an overwhelming welcome at their office.
We wrapped gifts for children and we also attended the party but we went home early.

1st WEEK (DECEMBER 3-7, 2012)

We all know at the first day of training, all of us experience a butterfly in our stomach. Also, we feel excited at the same time. That was the feeling I had that time knowing that St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) is a popular hospital. I was assigned at the department of nursing (DON) known as department of clinical advancement (DCA). An overwhelming acceptance was given to us by our supervisor. She oriented us about SLMC and that SLMC was accredited at JCI (Joint Commission International) for the fourth time. She said it is important to greet whoever enters the office, what is proper phone etiquette, etc. That time we are lucky because she was only the person in the office and all the managers participating in the strategic planning.
